Publisher Socials
Privacy Policy
Publisher — Posting to Socials (also referred to as Publisher Socials, the App, we, us, or our) is operated by Aleksei Khokhrin (the Service Provider).
This Privacy Policy explains how we process information when you use the App, contact support, or connect a supported social-media account. The App is a tool for creating, scheduling, and publishing content to accounts that you administer.

1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to the Publisher Socials mobile application and our related support and backend services. It does not replace the privacy policies of VKontakte, Telegram, Meta/Instagram, Google, RuStore, CloudPayments, or other third-party services that you choose to use.
2. Information We Process
Depending on which features you use, we may process the following categories of information.
Information you provide
- Post text, captions, drafts, schedules, templates, watermarks, images, videos, GIFs, links, and other content that you choose to create, import, schedule, or publish.
- Support requests and the information you include when you contact us by email or Telegram.
- Subscription or purchase information supplied by the applicable payment provider. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.
Social-platform connection data
When you connect a social platform, we may process the technical information needed to provide the requested feature, including account, community, channel, Page, or professional-account identifiers; names and usernames; profile images; connection status; access permissions; and access tokens.
- VK: the App uses official VK authorization and API tools. We do not ask for or receive your VK password.
- Telegram: the App may use the Telegram Bot API and public Telegram content endpoints to connect a bot to a channel, verify publishing access, read content you choose to view, and publish content that you instruct us to publish.
- Instagram: where the feature is available, the App uses Meta's official Facebook Login and Instagram Graph API for professional Instagram accounts linked to a Facebook Page. We do not ask for or receive your Facebook or Instagram password. Instagram access tokens are encrypted before server-side storage.
You control which accounts you connect. You may disconnect a connected account in the App; this removes the associated credentials that are no longer required for the connection.
Device, usage, and diagnostic information
We and our service providers may process pseudonymous device and app information, such as device and app version, operating-system version, installation source, language and region settings, feature-use events, crash reports, and diagnostic data. Diagnostic reports are designed not to include passwords, access tokens, post text, or attachments.
3. How We Use Information
We use information only as needed to:
- provide, secure, maintain, and improve the App;
- create, save, schedule, and publish content at your direction;
- connect and manage the social accounts that you explicitly authorize;
- provide customer support and respond to requests;
- measure app performance, reliability, and the effectiveness of product and marketing activity;
- prevent abuse, investigate errors, and protect users and the Service Provider; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your social-platform content or access tokens to create advertising profiles or to publish anything without your instruction.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data because it is necessary to provide the service you request, to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App, or with your consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent by disconnecting an account, changing device permissions, or contacting us; this does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
5. Where Information Is Stored and Shared
The App stores part of its working data locally on your device. We may also use carefully selected service providers to operate the App:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud for backend operations, Remote Config, Analytics, and Crashlytics;
- AppMetrica for app analytics and campaign measurement;
- VK, Telegram, and Meta when you use their respective integrations;
- Apple App Store, Google Play, RuStore, and CloudPayments for distribution, subscription, or payment-related services, where applicable.
These providers process information under their own privacy terms and may process data in countries other than your country of residence. We share only the information necessary for the relevant service. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for no longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- locally stored drafts, preferences, and cached data generally remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App;
- connected-account credentials are retained while the connection remains active and are removed when you disconnect the account, unless retention is required by law or necessary to resolve a security or abuse issue;
- support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the request and maintain appropriate records;
- analytics, crash, and payment-related data may be retained by the relevant provider under its own retention rules.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. For example, the App uses official social-platform authorization flows rather than collecting social-network passwords, and Instagram server-side tokens are encrypted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for reviewing the permissions you grant to connected social accounts.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may:
- disconnect a social account in the App;
- delete local App data through your device settings or by uninstalling the App;
- manage permissions through the relevant social platform;
- control certain analytics choices through device settings, where available; and
- contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal data, where applicable.
To make a request, email publisher.socials@gmail.com and describe the App, the relevant account or device, and the request. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request is made by the relevant person. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where local law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, that law applies. If you believe that a child has provided us with information, contact us at publisher.socials@gmail.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy when the App, applicable law, or our data practices change. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App where appropriate.
